Movement is the way in which children first express themselves – their feelings, their joy to be alive. We encourage students to build self-confidence through explorations of rhythm, music and movement. Their coordination and balance is developed through fun activities that introduce diverse ways of moving.
Research continues to show that by introducing preschool children to the visual and performing arts, they will be more likely to develop the necessary critical thinking and communication skills for a lifetime of learning.
Whether this is your first time with us or you are continuing, you’ll find that we adjust the pace to meet the challenges and development needs of the age groups. Each class is aimed to delight and explore new movement for your child in a fun filled music and dance class.
DAYTIME PRESCHOOL CLASSES 2023 – 2024
We believe that every child is special and unique. We recognize that each child learns at their own pace and that every accomplishment, no matter how great or small is important. We embrace every family’s uniqueness and both respect and embrace their dreams.
Our preschool dance programs encourage your baby, toddler or preschooler and you to explore and delight in movement. Each class is filled with colour, texture, multi-sensory play and music. Rhythm, creative movement and appropriate developmental play encourages whole body learning that enhances brain development and stimulates the imagination.
~ Dance provides a link between a child’s play and the more structured environment of school.
~ Dance enhances a child’s physical, intellectual, aesthetic, and social development.
~ Dance provides opportunities to develop
the imagination.
~ Dance encourages cooperation and helps children develop friendships as well as the
appreciation of their own abilities and the abilities of others.
~ Dance fosters important relationships
between sound, music, as well as both auditory and physical patterns.
Help your child discover the joy of
self-confidence & expression through dance.
